I am excited to share that I am continuing my journey at RR Donnelley, transitioning from a Windows Systems Engineering Intern to a Software Engineering Intern for this summer.I’d like to express my gratitude to John Taylor and Jill Schwartz for giving me this wonderful opportunity to grow and explore new challenges. A special thank you to my former manager, Robert Wilshe, under whose guidance I’ve learned immensely over the past year on his Windows team.

[End of an Enlightening Chapter]It's with a sense of fulfillment that I announce that the completion of my internship at Intel Corporation as a Software Engineer Intern. This journey, though limited in time, has been expansive in learning and personal growth. From day one, the wonderful folks at Intel welcomed me warmly, making sure that I was both comfortable and challenged in this nurturing environment. A special mention to my Manager, Norhisham Osman - your guidance has been instrumental. Under your mentorship, I've honed skills like critical thinking, effective communication, and the importance of teamwork. I truly appreciate every lesson you've imparted. Also, a huge shoutout to Farahana, my buddy throughout this journey. Your invaluable advice, both work-related and personal, has helped shape my perspective and focus. You've encouraged me to always chase my passions and strive for personal growth. To the rest of my team – you all have been my rock. The collaborative spirit, the constant knowledge sharing, and the genuine friendships have turned this internship into a milestone of my career. I am truly grateful for each one of you for making this experience rich and memorable. While this chapter comes to an end, the memories and relationships I've built at Intel are going to stay with me forever. As I venture into the next stages of my journey, I'm not just carrying technical expertise but the soul of what makes Intel Corporation a unique and enriching place to flourish. So, keep an eye out for the next steps of my journey! It's a wrap! The three months long internship at Intel has just ended. It was a pleasure working on Pre-Silicon validation as part of the DDG team. Special thanks to my buddy, my manager and my colleagues who welcomed me and guided me throughout my internship! It is a fruitful, interesting and fun experience at Intel. One of the most valuable technical skills I have gained is test-driven development. With test-driven development, I debug faster, make changes to my code confidently and have a better code design.Apart from that, I learnt to work as a team and to communicate and present my ideas more efficiently and effectively. I learnt to persevere even when new errors keep appearing, but also to ask my teammates for help when in doubt. The exposure to the work environment and culture; the life as an engineer; the process of developing and designing silicon and the change in dynamics and mindset as I switch to a different project are all invaluable experiences and learning.

Intern Spotlight!!!C&B is proud to recognize Trey Reynolds.Trey Interned with C&B this summer before returning to Auburn University to finish his Degree in Industrial Engineering.Trey hit the ground running when he came on board helping us set up our new lining & coating facility. He worked under the direction of our plant engineer to perform time studies, process flow models, and physical set up of the process flow that we are currently using today. Trey jumped right in to learning our products and processes, and helped in many departments this summer. "What I enjoyed the most was being able to give my input on important projects and decisions, something that many lower-level employees/interns don’t commonly have an opportunity to do. I enjoyed learning the steps and procedures needed to complete a project. For example, how to go from the early development stage to getting the idea approved, then contacting vendors and getting the necessary material ready to actually implement the solution/idea." Good Luck this fall Trey!!!

A few weeks ago, I finished my internship at Springs Window Fashions! My main project for the Summer focused on implementing a solution to better communicate to the Field Sales Team. Originally, the Field Service Representatives (FSRs) were being bombarded with emails, in which they couldn't focus on their actual Sales. However, with mastering the platform "Drip," I created a weekly email that was sent out to FSRs called "The Source." I was able to manipulate the platform to drive FSR engagement, and gave them the tools they needed in a "one-stop-shop," so they could really dive into increasing their Sales. 💰 Overall, I learned so much including how to own my work, how to work with other departments, and also how to communicate to others, as challenges are inevitable. Thank you so much Springs Window Fashions for the opportunity! I loved working with the Retail Department, as it truly is a Best Experience Company!#marketing #retailsales #retail #retailinnovation #productdevelopment #windows #internshipcompletion #newopportunity
