What Upcoming Release Are You Most Excited For?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!There are a couple of future titles that I'm eagerly awaiting to drop, but I think the biggest one on my radar right now isMarvel Rivals. I don't usually go for hero shooters, but as a Marvel fan I jumped at the opportunity to play the beta and absolutely loved it. Beyond that,Kingdom Come Deliverance 2looks phenomenal, can't wait to see that one next year!

What Game Comes To Mind When You Think About The Original PlayStation?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Whenever I think about the first PlayStation I always associate it with the firstSpyro the Dragongame. It's really a shame that we haven't seen Spyro in his own mainline game for ages now (not counting theSkylandersgames), because the movement and platforming in Spyro levels is absurdly fun, and it's amazing how well it translates to modern audiences with a bit of a graphical polish-up like in theSpyro Re-ignited Trilogyremaster.

What Game Do You Most Associate The PlayStation 2 With?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!The PlayStation 2 was the first console I had as a young teenager, and the first game I really fell in love with on it wasJak 2. It can be debated whether the first and third games are better than the second one, but I have a lot of nostalgia for this one in particular. A strong runner-up would beShadow of the Colossus, which was utterly jaw-dropping, especially for the time and the PS2 console generation.

What Was The Last Game You Earned A Platinum Trophy For?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!It's been a while since I've had the time to comb through a trophy list and finish it, but I think it would have been Spider-Man 2, or evenSpider-Man: Miles Morales, since I went back and played it before the latest installment dropped. With that said, I'm almost finished with the trophy list forHorizon: Zero Dawn, since I picked it back up when the remastered version was released.

What's The Most Visually Impressive PlayStation Game You've Played?

Recently ported to PC,Ghost of Tsushimais a feast for the eyes in just about every scene – you don't even have to be a big fan of ancient Samurai aesthetics or classical Japanese artwork to appreciate how eye-catching the art direction is in this game.
What's The Scariest Game You've Played On PlayStation?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Admittedly, I've never really been drawn to horror games, just as I've never been an avid fan of horror films, but everyone I ask tells me thatAmnesia: The Dark Descentcertainly gets hearts racing. From personal experience, it would beAlan Wake 2, but even then I wouldn't say it was absolutely terrifying (although, it was a very, very good game!)

What's The Best RPG You've Played on PlayStation?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Without question, the best RPG I've played on PlayStation isSkyrim. It's up there as one of my all-time favorite games and one I consistently come back to, whether it's been one month, one year, or three years. If we're talking PlayStationexclusives, though, I'd sayHorizon: Zero Dawnwould be my top pick. It was so unique and beautifully crafted, I thoroughly enjoyed it and will thoroughly enjoy the remaster when it drops!

What's Something You Don't Miss About Old PlayStation Consoles?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!As much as having a wired controller can be a nice backup if you forget to charge your wireless controllers, I really don't miss how short some of those cords were and how easily they could get tangled on furniture. The originalPS1 controller was so short you almost had to sit on the floor next to the console, which was also on the floor. Eventually wireless controllers became the norm and the PS5 completely phased out wired controllers. It's a bit like the transition from wired headphones to Bluetooth headphones across the tech industry - I don't miss getting all these cords mixed up as much as I thought I would.

What Is Your Fondest Memory Of PlayStation?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!I remember like it was yesterday having a sleepover birthday party with 4 of my friends where we all played the PlayStation 2 together. One of my friends brought their console and the same games that I had, and we set up one TV on either side of the room. We sat back-to-back playing all night, occasionally swapping seats so we could compete with each other! I barely remember the games we played or the friends I had over, but I just remember feeling like it was one of the best birthdays I'd ever had!

What Are You Currently Playing?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!I'm currently between an old favorite and a new release! With the remaster ofHorizon: Zero Dawndropping, I've got another excuse to dive into Aloy's story and boy, what a great story it is. On the other hand, I've also got a lore-rich and content-heavy RPG inDragon Age: The Veilguardon my PlayStation, so I'll be kept pretty preoccupied getting through both of these big franchise installments!

If You Could Only Play 3 PS Games For The Rest Of Your Life, What Would They Be?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!It's hard to choose just three from the enormous lineup of the bestPS exclusives of all time, but if I could only choose three to play for the rest of my life I'd have to make my choices based on their replayability, or at least my enjoyment of them in the long term. I'd personally choose:- Bloodborne- Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2- Shadow of the ColossusI would probably get tired ofShadow of the Colossusafter a few times through, butTony Hawk's Pro Skater 2andBloodborneare timeless classics that I wouldn't mind replaying over and over.

Which PlayStation Franchise Had The Biggest Influence On You and Why?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!Though it hasn't been a PlayStation-exclusive franchise since the first couple of PlayStation console generations, the first threeCrash Bandicootgames were hugely influential on me as a wee gamer. They're ridiculously fun even by today's standards, and though they weren't the first games I ever played, withoutCrash Bandicoot1-3 I don't think I'd have the same appreciation for wacky, well-designed platformers that I do now.

What’s Your Earliest Memory of PlayStation?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!My childhood consisted of coming home from school, watching WWE (or WWF, as it was once known), and firing up the good ol' PlayStation 1 for a game ofCrash Bandicoot: Warped,Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee, orSpyro: Ripto's Rage(it's calledGateway to Glimmerwhere I'm from!). I'll never forget having to write numbers on my memory cards with liquid ink to ensure I kept track of what was saved on where!

Which PlayStation Classic Needs A Remake and Why?
Answer this Thread to put your name in the draw for a PS5 Pro! Entries close November 12, 2024, at 11:59pm PT!TheTwisted Metalseries is one of the most iconic PlayStation games of all time, but aside from the 2023 TV adaptation, we haven't seen a newTwisted Metalentry for more than 12 years. The over-the-top violence and fun driving mechanics comprised a simple but ridiculously fun concept that led to a lot of games in the late 90s and 2000s, but we haven't heard barely a peep since 2012. With all the leaps in technology since the PS3 era, a bombastic, modernized remake of the firstTwisted Metalgame could do wonders to reboot the series' popularity and make for a good competitor in the relatively sparse party racing genre.

What Is Your Least Favorite WoW Class?
I can't quite put my finger on it, but I've never really enjoyed the Shaman class, at least its gameplay. I like the class fantasy a lot, and I always appreciate a Windfury Totem in group content, but I don't really like the playstyle for some reason. It doesn't really make sense considering I like the other hybrid classes just fine, it's just the one class that doesn't quite click for me.

What Game Genre Do You Avoid Like The Plague?
I used to be very into MOBAs, but at some point, I started avoiding the genre entirely. I'm not as competitive as I used to be, and now, I prefer playing more casual games where you can just mess around and have fun in without having to worry about winning.

What Game Would You Recommend To A Baldur's Gate 3 Fan?
Pillars of Eternity is a great CRPG for fans of fantasy settings. It's both different and similar to the original Baldur's Gate games in a lot of ways, but it's unique enough in terms of characters and story to stand on its own. If you want to take a break from saving yet another fantasy world, then maybe the Fallout-esque Wasteland 3 is the game to pick up.

What Do You Think of Overwatch Classic, So Far?
I've been enjoying some aspects of it, particularly the ability to mix and match role composition. Some characters have been fun to try out, such as Genji - whose Dragonblade seems to last forever, while others I can't bring myself to play, such as D.Va and her ten-second Defense Matrix. I'm excited to see other variants of this game mode for different eras and will definitely try each one as it goes live.
